Marta’s style of writing gives away her background as a serious academic, trained in research and analysis – seldom fluffy or joyful but it cuts the chase and gets to the point. The strength of her narrative is in the interesting facts that she presents and the realistic dialog that concocts them like a spider web. She explores more freely the creative aspects of writing in her fiction and popular writing (see Marta’s Book page). Although the academic reading is at times a bit dry, the explored ideas are fascinating and worth the effort.
The articles and book chapters below, reveal Marta’s life-long fascination with intuition. She even moved to the other side of the Pacific so she could complete a PhD on intuition at The University of Queensland in Australia, way before others got interested in the topic. Having frequently relied on it during her work in Silicon Valley, she was keen to discover what intuition actually is and how it works. Her mission is simple: bring intuition into the mainstream so we can talk about it freely at work and use it effectively in our professional and personal life. On her own and in collaboration with international colleagues, also as part of her two handbooks, Marta investigated different aspects of intuition, always pushing the envelope and asking ‘what if’?
